Betway Product Upgrade

Betway is officially upgrading to a brand new platform, equipped with faster load times, an expanded sports betting catalog, and numerous other world-class features that are sure to elevate your wagering experience to new heights.


When will the planned upgrade occur?

The Betway desktop platform & mobile app will undergo a temporary maintenance period in early February 2024, exact date to be confirmed. During which you will not be able to access our platforms, place wagers, or deposit/withdraw any funds.


What happens to my account?

When we are back online on the upgraded platform, you will need to create a new Betway account to continue playing.

When we go offline, rest assured that any active balance amount in your account will be refunded to you via your preferred withdrawal method or by bank check mailed to your registered address.

Can I still wager with Betway during the maintenance period?

You will not have access to your account during the maintenance period, which means you will not be able to place any wagers during that time.

If you have a wager that settles during the maintenance period, any winnings will be added to your balance on the upgraded platform once the upgrade has concluded and you have created a new account with the same email.

What happens to my open wagers?

Open wagers will transfer to your new Betway account on the upgraded platform if you re-register with the same email address you used for your previous Betway account.

What about cash outs?

You will not be able to cash out any open wagers that were placed prior to [DATE]. Completed cash outs prior to this date will not appear under your settled wagers for your new Betway account on the upgraded platform once the maintenance period has concluded.


May I make any deposits during the maintenance period?

You will not be able to access your account during the maintenance period. Therefore, you will not be able to deposit any funds into your account until the maintenance period has concluded.

Once we are back online, you will need to create a new Betway account and re-verify your preferred payment method(s) in order to deposit funds.


May I make any withdrawals during the maintenance period?

You will not be able to access your account during the maintenance period. Therefore, you will not be able to withdraw any funds from your account until the maintenance period has concluded.

Any withdrawals that were made prior to the start of the maintenance period will be reviewed & paid out accordingly upon approval, in the standard time period pertaining to the specific withdrawal method.


What if my withdrawal request isn’t approved before the maintenance period begins?

You must provide all necessary documentation required for the withdrawal process prior to the beginning of the maintenance period to ensure your withdrawal will be processed. Otherwise, your withdrawal may be canceled.

 If your withdrawal request is canceled, the funds you attempted to withdraw will return to your account balance. But when the maintenance period begins, these funds (and the rest of your account balance) will be refunded to you via your preferred payment method or by bank check mailed to your registered address.


Will the login process change?

Once we are back online, you will need to create a new Betway account and re-verify your information to continue playing..

Downloading & using the Betway mobile app will allow for a simpler registration process once the maintenance period has concluded.


Can I still view my wagering history?

You will not be able to access your account or wagering history during the maintenance period.

Any Open Bets, however, will transfer over to your new account on the upgraded platform should you re-register using the same email address as your previous Betway account.


How will bonuses work on the upgraded platform?

You can still be eligible for Bonus Bets on the upgraded platform after the maintenance period has concluded.

 There will be various new features at your disposal upon completion of our maintenance period & platform upgrade.

Will anything occur to my Responsible Gaming limits & restrictions?

You will need to create a new Betway account on our upgraded platform to continue playing, after which you will need to re-set any Responsible Gaming limits & restrictions pertaining to your account.
